Velton W. Showell III is the Sr. VP Sales & Marketing at Strategic Solutions LLC, where he leads the training division of the company.  He spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry leading award winning sales operations for Global Hyatt, Inter-Continental Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and most recently held the position of Director of Sales for Marriott International at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa. A graduate of Rutgers University he holds a BA in Economics and a Minor in Personnel and Human Resources Management.  Author of the book "Prospecting, the Key to Your Future Success", Showell is a Certified Sales Trainer and Award Winning Sales Leader.

dr. marietta castellanos, psychiatrist

Dr. Marietta Castellanos has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. She’s done research for Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb Merck and many other pharmaceutical companies; specifically on anxiety, depression,  bipolar disorder, ADHD and male sexual dysfunction in initial research for Viagra. . She was appointed Assistant professor for the University of Minnesota and Director of Psychiatric Services for the Methadone Clinic. Finally, she returned to her home town Miami where she has a private psychiatric practice in Coral Gables and conducts investigator initiated clinical research trials. Now launching a new supplement "The Glow Experience" for enhancement of mood, focus and libido in both males and females.

ira horowitz, public issues consultant

Ira Horowitz is a former public interest lawyer who now consults on diversity issues, particularly with men and boys on ending sexism and reducing violence. Ira began this second career when he moved with his family to Durban, South Africa from 1996 – 2000. Ira moved to Miami in 2003 where among other groups, he has facilitated gender awareness workshops for Campus Police officers at Florida international University, Safe Schools Specialists in the Miami Public Schools, staff at Domestic Violence Agencies and Batterer's Intervention Programs, and most recently for 27 inmates at the State run Everglades Correctional Institution.

dr. richard holton, multi-cultural diversity & conflict resolution consultant

Dr. Richard Holton is a retired lieutenant and thirty-year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department. He received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Miami. He received his Doctoral Degree from Nova Southeastern University in the field of Organizational Leadership and Education, with a specialization in Multi-Cultural Diversity, and Conflict Resolution. He currently serves as an adjunct professor for Florida International, and St. Thomas Universities in Miami, Florida.

Priscilla Dames, president & ceo, wingspan seminars, llc

Priscilla Dames is founder of Wingspan Seminars, whose mission is based in conflict resolution and provides seminars focusing on strengthening relationships while creating positive environments. Her first book, How to Survive When Your Ship is Sinking, was released at an International Women’s Empowerment Conference, Chicago, 2012. Dames earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ball State University, and a Master of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University. She pursued a Doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova as a logical extension of her lifelong commitment to human diversity and equality.  This has led to her chairpersonship of the Miami-Dade County Black Affairs Advisory Board and supporting women as Chairperson of the Women’s Business Council, Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce.
